How do I join a league?
Simply fill in our online form and press submit or download our printable form, fill in the details and post it back.
How do we pay?
The choice is yours. You can pay for the season in advance, by card or cheque and receive a discounted rate, alternatively you can pay cash on the night. 10% discount is available when you pay for the season in advance.
Why do you charge a deposit?
Football Invasion's £30 deposit is refundable on exiting the league. We charge a deposit to ensure the league is run to a high standard for teams such as yours. By charging a deposit, it helps keep non fulfilment of fixtures a rare occurrence so you get to play more football.
Are Football Invasion Leagues FA affiliated and do I have to pay affiliation fees?
Football Invasion leagues are FA affiliated for Season 2009/2010.
We organise this for you and even pay your affiliation fees.
How many players can I register?
You can register as many players as you like.
Football Invasion understand that sometimes you will need to bring in a friend to help out so you can even register additional players on the night by telling the onsite co-ordinator.
What if we can't field a team one week?
Football Invasion require 24 hours notice so we can inform your opposition, avoiding you having to pay both match fees. In the holiday season, just tell us when you are going away and we will try to accommodate the fixtures.
Am I able to pick my fixture kick-off times?
Football Invasion understand that work and family commitments sometimes have to come first. If you are unable to make a particular kick off time or prefer to play earlier or later, just let us know and we will organise the fixtures to accommodate.
What if my opposition does not show up for our game?
Luckily this is a rare occurrence. Typically we would have been informed prior to kick off and will inform you to avoid a wasted journey, if you still want to play we will try to organise a friendly. You will be awarded a 3-0 win and wont be charged your match fee.
How do I know the league will be well organised?
Football Invasion already organise a host of successful 5-a-side leagues. Unlike many other 5-a-side leagues, Football Invasion have an onsite co-ordinator to ensure the smooth running of every match. We don't want you waiting around for kick off on match night, Football Invasion ensure all games have a 4-5 minute turnaround time so your game should always kick off on time.
What is covered by the match fee?
Football Invasion organise everything! All you have to do is turn up!
Football Invasion supply the pitches, FA qualified referee's, footballs, coloured bibs for kit clashes and show all fixtures, results and league tables on our website.
How do I know I will be playing teams of the same ability level?
Football Invasion runs a multi division league.
Our short seasons ensure that not only are you always in a promotion, relegation or title battle, you will also be playing teams of a similar ability.
How long do the seasons last?
This depends on the league but they are typically 8 - 10 weeks, so there is no hovering in mid table.
Do we need a kit?
No, Football Invasion supplies bibs on the night if there are any kit clashes.
What are the rules?
This can vary slightly depending on the league, due to different sizes and types of pitches. Football Invasion like our football to flow, so there is no restriction on overhead height. Football Invasion protect our players, so sliding or charging tackles are forbidden and all teams must wear shin pads.
How long are the games?
This varies between leagues but games are typically 15-18 minutes each way.
Do Football Invasion award trophies?
Yes, we award trophies to the winners of all divisions at the end of season
What happens at the end of the season, do I need to re-register?
Football Invasion leagues are played all year round.
The week one season finishes the new season begins!
There is no need to re-register, this will automatically happen unless you tell us otherwise.
