Terms and Conditions
Football Invasion provides its service to you, subject to the following Terms & Conditions ("T&C").
A team shall always be automatically registered into the next/new season unless 2 weeks’ notice of your desire to exit the league has been given by the team captain. If a team that leaves the league without 2 weeks’ notice to football invasion (in writing or by email) they shall forfeit any deposit taken and be liable to pay the standard match fee for each of the remaining games. Exit of a league can only take place at the end of the season. The Length of the League varies from league to league depending on number of team participating.
The team captain is responsible for all participants playing in the team and all payments/arrears. By entering a team, the captain agrees to this responsibility.
Football Invasion reserves the right to refuse entry or exclude any participant, team or organisation from its competition without giving a reason.
REGISTERATION
Registering, does not guarantee entry into a League. Unsuccessful applicants will receive a full refund shortly after if the league is full.
It is the Captain’s responsibility to ensure that all players are bide by the rules and registered with Football Invasion (and over the age of 16 years old). There is no limit on the amount of players you register. Any players that wish to join a team once the season has started needs to be registered also.
HEALTH & SAFETY
Football Invasion events are a contact sport which contains elements of risk to all participants and spectators. Participants/Spectators agree to take full responsibility for any injuries that may occur. Football Invasion do not accept liability for any injuries and/or death and all participants play with full knowledge and acceptance of the risks involved. All players play at their own risk and are responsible to take out their personal injury insurance. No responsibility can be taken for any loss or damage to personal property.
Participants agree and acknowledge, Football Invasion does not own or have exclusive occupation of premises used; has little or no control in respect of persons entering the premises (including surroundings and other football pitches) and no control as to how the premises are used and left before/after competitions.
Team Captains are fully responsible for making sure the conditions are safe for their team, if the Captain feels the environment is not safe to play in which could include misconduct, dangers, violence, or similar, then the must advise Football Invasion immediately.
FEES / ABSENCES
The match fees are determined by Football Invasion and can be subject to change.
Team's can pay match fees in advance via www.football-invasion.co.uk, bacs payment, cheque or alternatively you can pay cash before the match.
Fees must be paid in advance; games will not commence until payment has been received! For any reason, if the full match fee is not received before the game, the game will not be counted in the League and a £10 administration fee shall be charged to the team.
If a team is not able to attend a fixture, a 3-0 win is awarded to the opposition and the team is still required to pay the match fee plus an administration fee. The administration fee is currently £5.
If formal notice of absence is given to Football Invasion before NOON on the day of the fixture via phone, website or email accompanied by payment for the absence a £10 discount will be given against your next fixture and the team will not be charged the £5 administration charge.
Any arrears will be collected by Football Invasion Ltd or an appointed agency and a team may also be banned from all sanctioned football by the sanctioning County FA. The team captain is responsible for these monies.
OTHER
Website pictures may not always be the actual pitches you will be playing on, they are for display only.
The £30 referral fee is only paid after the recommended team completes their first season. The referral fee will only paid once, to one person based on where they heard about the league. This should be reflected on the registration form.
By registering to play in a Football Invasion league, the captain agrees to abide to the rules of the league and will ensure the team are aware of the rules and that they also abide by them.
If a teams opponents are absent. Football Invasion will try to organise a friendly match. This will be charged a discounted rate of £15.
This contract shall be governed by English Law and shall be subject to the sole jurisdiction of the English Courts.
LIABILITY/BREACH
Please note that Football Invasion does not provide any insurance cover for teams to cover for personal injury.
Football Invasion cannot be held responsible for personal injuries and strongly recommend that teams take out their own insurance policies to cover such eventualities.
Football Invasion will not be held responsible/liable for any loss or damage for performance of football Invasions obligations, or anything outside of Football Invasions control.
Football Invasion referee’s and match day co-ordinator are self employed and Football Invasion shall not be responsible for every act or omission by them.
Without prejudice to the generality of our terms and conditions; Football Invasion will not be liable for negligence or negligent of anyone carrying out work for our company, has no liability for any losses, personal injury or death.
This contract shall be governed by English Law and shall be subject to the sole jurisdiction of the English Courts.
